Our Farm

Me and my Farmer

We hardly ever get a picture together, my girls experimenting with my camera
Starting about February the girls ask DAILY when are the boys coming home.  Home you say?  Yes, home is exactly what they mean!  My girls assume this is their home, and until age appropriate will they learn that these friends really take home in Mexico. Since birth the guys having been living and working on our farm.  My girls only know the 7 (one not pictured) as their family.  And when the boys do come HOME to Lowe Farms, the first tradition is our yearly family portrait.  Smiles and hugs passed as the girls now are at ease that their family is back at one place for another year of work and harvest.
We will never be able to explain how important these boys are to our family and the livelihood of Lowe Farms.  God has blessed us so greatly!  Miles and culture differences can never separate us from the love established.

Before our guys return home, we all go and celebrate the seasons end at dinner!!  We all look forward to the (last dinner) as some would say the night before they go to the airport.  So many memories of the year is shared along with lots of hugs and smiles.  As dinner ends the tears normally roll.............it hard to say good bye to our extended family members but we are blessed to know the year has proved us healthy and happy to complete another successful farming year!!
